Revision6 Low Rise Headlights

Here are my Revision6 headlights; these are one of my favorite mods to the exterior in the form of lighting I guess. Originally these ran me $600.00 from a group buy on the product when they were new, now you can see if Revision6 will ship a set to the U.S. for a price in the 700-750 range. I was very happy with the quality of the product and I was not too disturbed about how long it took to get them (about 8 months after initial interest). Here are a few snapshots of the kit when I first received it as well as during assembly and installation. My apologies about the pic. quality but at the time I only had the camera phone for digital pics.

This is the main lighting assembly. It was very east to assemble and fit together well.

During the installation I did have one incident; while tightening down part of the riser I snapped it into two pieces. Thanks to a friend down the road we quickly had it repaired

There’s nothing like a quick braising job to fix minor problems. Afterward it was glass beaded and painted for protection.

Here are the final pics. The beam pattern with the Hella modules are great, both hi and low beam. The plastic shield fit “Ok” but mot great after I got the lamps properly aimed I ended up bending  the adjuster in slightly to make adequate clearance.

Since the initial installation I have upgraded the lamps to the XD9 lamps. The output looked more like H.I.D. and was crazy bright (5.5K). But even with those I will be upgrading to the true H.I.D. modules from Hella when the car is close to being back on the road.
